You don’t have to be exactly like me for us to be friends

But it’s the way you see me which will determine our friendship’s path.

Basically, I’m asking for civility from you if nothing else.

How I interpret this is that if you can’t agree with me or accept my point of view, we’ll agree to disagree and let it go.

In this way we can be friends even when the world is going to hell around us.

I believe we’ll be find as long as we honor this contract.
